Transport and logistics are a key competitive driver for many of our members. The Cefic logistics committee acts on the industry's interests in regulatory issues such as transport liberalisation and inter-modality.
It tracks regulatory developments in the transport of dangerous goods and co-ordinates a European-wide transport emergency response scheme.
The logistics committee also promotes best practise and manages Safety and Quality Assessment Systems (SQAS) Cefic's vigilance on transport issues helps protect the long-term viability of the industry.
