| Our Structure - The Executive Committee |

| The Executive Committee submits strategic and major positioning issues to the Board for decision. Its proposals to the Board are based on input from the Programme Councils. |
Up to 12 members make up the Executive Committee. It is composed of the President, all chairpersons of Programme Councils, the Chairs of ACOM and ABM, one Board Member from AFEM and from one Board Member from the Industry Sectors college.The Executive Committee is elected every two years by the General Assembly.
The General Assembly elected on 4 Octobre 2008 the following members for the period of 2008-2010:

- Ian Hudson, Chair PC Build Trust and Communication (Du Pont)
- Christian Jourquin, President (Solvay)
- Thierry Le Henaff, Chair PC Industrial Policy (Arkema)
- Wolfgang Plischke, Vice-President-Chair PC Research & Innovation (Bayer)
- Pavel Svarc, AFEM (CEPRO/SCHP)
- Ben van Beurden, Chair ACOM (Shell)
